The new land reclaimed from the sea has a Surface area of 23,203 m2 and a width of 79.10 meters in the southern part, which is reduced in its northern part in proximity to the mouth of the Nautical Services Basin. The work included the new arrangement of the surface created, expanding the existing container black and their corresponding vials and rolling beams.

WORK OBJECTIVE

Perform the tasks corresponding to the Technical Assistance through the monitoring, calculation of measurements, quality control and preparation of reports. The work will respect the health and safety coordination, established in the Royal Decree 1627/1997 of October 24, including the previous revision of the Health and Safety Plan with the drafting of the corrections report thereto, the favorable report of the Plan, and follow-up of the work through field visits, with drafting of the field visit report.

WORK DESCRIPTION

The MSC Terminal of the Valencian Port is managed by a concession regime through the Mediterranean Shipping Company Terminal of Valencia and is dedicated to container handling. It is located on the Coastal Transversal Dock in the South Basin of the Valencian Port. Prior to the expansion work, it had an approximate surface of 300,000 m2. The expansion was carried out by means of a filling of granular material delimited and protected by a slope 1.5/1 formed by an all-one core with protection mantle of breakwater of 3 t crowned at the height +5, with the corresponding filter of breakwater and a standing berm.
